For this homeowner located in a New York metropolitan area, AAA Electronic Services has partnered with interior designers, engineers and builders to make visions of the smart home and state-of-the-art home entertainment their new reality.

While the design aesthetic is a blend of modern amenities and traditional farmhouse visual cues, the technological demands of a contemporary family fueled this client’s hopes. Gaming, video streaming, home office, security, and automation have created a need for next-generation technology.

With decades of experience in meeting such demands, Operations Manager Yash Momaya and the AAA Electronic Services team have designed a system that presents a luxurious lifestyle with the conveniences of a resort and the functionality of a a sophisticated home office.

During the second phase of this major renovation, the house is almost complete with reimagined smart home equipment, supported by URC’s Total Control platform to automate actions, control other systems and integrate with products from several brands. The system includes single touch control throughout the home via 16 TKP-7600 touch panels.

With expert programming from AAA Electronics, the system integrates audio, video, climate, lighting, shading, security and multiple automated exterior subsystems to provide unified control and styling conveniences. luxurious living. Adding 13 TRC-1480 devices takes simple touch or voice command throughout the home – controlling the family’s favorite streaming content and the rest of the Total Control system.

“The owner had a clear vision of the aesthetic and lifestyle elements needed in the home, and URC’s Total Control helped us achieve both,” says Momaya of the control and integration required for this expansive project.

Because audio was another major demand for the household, Momaya and AAA Electronic Services wanted to ensure high-quality listening experiences throughout. They designed and installed 32 full zones of various sounds, aided by five of URC’s HDA-8100 multi-zone amplifiers.

The Total Control platform was able to easily integrate with devices such as a Denon Heos Drive HS2 streaming amplifier, a CasaTunes CT-8+ amp, a Beale Street Audio A120 sub-amplifier and a Crown Audio CR- amplifier. Owners can access their favorite audio streaming services through Total Control integration and enjoy music from 40 speakers, including Russound, Vanco Beale Street Audio and Snap One Episode models.

To increase comfort and peace of mind, lighting control and shading have been integrated into the design. AAA Electronic Services created a system with Lutron products including 11 Maestro RF dimmers with PRO LED+ technology and 10 seeTouch stage keypads chosen to match the décor.

Interior and exterior lights were to turn on at sunset and off at sunrise. Lutron Sivoia QS Roller Shades have been programmed to regulate direct sunlight into the home and provide privacy – plus an added element of security.

Additional integrations included a DoorBird D101 IP video door station at the door to monitor security and provide easy homeowner access. Snap One Wattbox provides project power needs, and a Ubiquiti home network provides reliable coverage indoors and outdoors.
