PS5 UK Replenishment: Amazon, GAME Update – Stock Argos PlayStation 5 TODAY | Games | Entertainment
UPDATE TWO: A new report suggests that a restocking of the PS5 will take place today in Argos and is expected to start at 8am BST. PS5 Stock Alert on Twitter provided the update, while also confirming that GAME will be sharing more PS5 stock through its website later this week, possibly October 28.
UPDATE: This week’s first PS5 restock will be hosted by EE on the company’s official website, with sale scheduled to begin around 8:30 a.m. BST.
A message from the PS5 Stock Alert UK Twitter account reads: “If you are an eligible Pay Monthly customer, you can get the PS5 interest free for 11 months with EE starting at 8:30 am tomorrow, October 26th.”
ORIGINAL: Other PS5 stocks are expected to drop before the end of October, although most major retailers have already launched shipments. GAME was one of the more recent retailers to offer a PS5 restock, along with Argos and Currys. And there’s a slight chance that GAME will host a much smaller replenishment event later this week.
This will be made up of all the pre-ordered consoles that haven’t been paid for, meaning there won’t be a lot of PS5s to buy. So it looks like most large shipments will arrive and be offered by retailers in the UK in November 2021.
There is still a prediction that Amazon could be the next big retailer to offer PS5 consoles in the coming weeks.
The prediction was made by PS5 Stock UK – a reliable stock tracking account on Twitter – which is known to provide the best guides on what happens next.
The posted at the time: “We have no information to confirm this but previous replenishment patterns indicate a possible drop this week for Amazon (10/20) & Very (10/19 or 10/20). Just a prediction.
Time has already passed for this Amazon replenishment, but since the others listed above have not materialized, there is still a chance that something will emerge later this week.
Other retailers like Argos and Currys are expected to receive more PS5 stock in November, but it’s unclear when these new consoles will be available for purchase.
Knowing when a PS5 restock is happening can be vital, but it’s also worth knowing how each retailer handles their shipments.
And here are some examples of the best way to try and buy a PlayStation 5 console from major UK retailers:
ARGOS: Argos website has been known to crash and be unable to complete purchases when site traffic is high. Stock trackers suggest using the Argos mobile app and keeping an eye on local store listings.
AMAZON UNITED KINGDOM: Amazon UK works best under power, but still has a few issues worth mentioning. Having an account set up with your card details is a good start, and gamers should also try adding a console to their wishlist before checking out.
GAME: GAME is a UK retailer that offers the most regular stock updates for PS5 consoles. However, console hunters have been warned to use Guest Checkout, as this option is less likely to crash when making a purchase. There are no new dates for the next PS5 restocking.
CURRY: Currys does not host purely digital replenishment events and there is no indication when they might offer more consoles online. The retailer chooses to sell the PlayStation 5 through its physical stores through a ticketing system. Those interested should register on the Currys PS5 page for a chance to be selected, which will then be followed by waiting for the arrival of the next consoles shipment.
